    MTM Navy Blue Linen Blazer

    My body is non-standard: narrow shoulders, long waist, short legs, neck stoop forward, wide hip bones. I tried to be accurate when submitting my measurements .

    I had ordered a dark gray wool suit from Black Lapel a few years previous, and after three rounds of alterations I am satisfied with it.

    However, when I received this blazer, although the shoulders fit well and the chest fit fairly well, there was a ridiculous flare in the vent flap that could not be ironed flat. I have several other blazers, including a linen blazer, and none of them have that problem--all the back vent flaps lay flat and look good. Evan said the back vent flap problem may have been due to a change in my measurements, although I don't believe I made any changes to my measurements after ordering this blazer. Regardless, Black Lapel agreed to reimburse me for the $79 local tailoring to correct the issue.
