Shipping Policy

Every Black Lapel garment is made to order. The delivery timelines below include both production time and transit — your order enters our workshop queue as soon as it's placed.

Delivery Options

Priority Delivery — 4 to 5 weeks. Free on orders of $200 or more. Our standard service, balancing speed with the care custom tailoring requires.

Expedited Delivery — 3 to 4 weeks. Available at checkout for an additional fee, which varies with workshop demand.

Super Expedited Delivery — 2 to 3 weeks. Our fastest option, intended for last-minute situations. Available at checkout for an additional fee, which varies with workshop demand.

Standard Delivery — 5 to 6 weeks. Free for orders under $200. These orders are re-shipped from our U.S. hub, which adds transit time.

Order Tracking

You'll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a shipping notification with tracking information once your garments leave the workshop.

Duties and Taxes

All orders shipped to the United States are sent Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) — no additional charges on delivery. If you encounter any duty assessment issue with a U.S. delivery, contact us and we'll resolve it.

For international orders, duties, taxes, and import fees are not prepaid and are the responsibility of the recipient. Most shipments clear without charges, but customs policies vary by country. Please allow extra time for international transit and customs processing.

Timelines Are Estimates

Because every garment is individually made, all delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. If you're ordering for a wedding or a specific event date, contact us before ordering and we'll make sure your timeline works.

Remakes and Alterations

If your garment needs adjustment under our fit guarantee, we cover the cost of shipping associated with approved remakes.
