Black Lapel has transitioned to a digital-first model so we can deliver better pricing, broader fabric access, and a more consistent, better-serviced custom experience online. Our former showrooms were rebranded and merged into a separate luxury retail business, allowing Black Lapel to focus entirely on what we do best: accessible, high-quality custom clothing without retail overhead.

Is shopping online really as accurate as visiting a showroom?

Our detailed sizing survey, proprietary fit algorithm, and alteration and remake process deliver results that are just as accurate as an in-person fitting, without the appointment, commute, or pressure of a retail environment. Online also allows us to review your fit holistically, rather than relying on a single in-store moment.

That said, these locations are fit-only environments and are designed for a different type of experience. Products, pricing, and fabric availability will differ, and all ordering decisions still happen online. For most clients, the online process is faster, clearer, and delivers better value.
