At first glance, this is a classic navy suit. Look closer and the very subtle tonal tick weave gives the fabric just enough texture to add depth without changing the overall character of the suit. It’s still wonderfully easy to wear with just about everything, but the barely-there variation keeps the cloth from looking flat. You might not notice it from across the room. You’ll appreciate it when you do.
The cloth comes from Drago, a family-run Italian mill founded in Biella in 1973 and known for its extra-fine worsted wool. This 100% wool Super 130s fabric weighs 260 grams, using finer yarns to create a smooth hand, refined drape, and lightweight feel. Premium Italian cloth, with just enough texture to make a classic color more interesting.
